SUNNY ON THE CAUSEWAY is an American pop punk band founded by Big-A in 2013 in Pennsylvania. Big-A is the sole songwriter and plays all the instruments on the studio recordings. Live shows include a rotating assortment of friends rather than a specific live band. SUNNY ON THE CAUSEWAY's sound blends irreverent 90s pop punk, rapid fire hip hop style vocals, ear worm melodies, and big pop hooks with gangster imagery, counter culture attitudes, poetic irony, and insightful commentaries expressed through intentionally immature narratives. The songs often feature complex rhyme schemes, include clever word play, and range from quick minute long pop numbers to heavy ten minute punk epics.
