Death in the Family makes interactive records. We are a donation based, podcast based, record label. So what exactly is an interactive record?
Well, each week we record a podcast that documents the making of an album. We work with one artist at a time, one album at a time, and dedicate a podcast to the creative process. Then, we ask any and all listeners to participate in making the record. We encourage comments, feedback, suggestions, criticisms, shit posting, etc... and use all of it to guide the creation of an album. We want the album to become whatever our listeners make it.
